Harold B. Archer 1915-1997

Harold B. Archer was born in Prosperity, PA. He was a graduate of Penn State University, and worked for the Pratt and Whitney Air Craft in East Hartford, where he retired as Chief Test Pilot, in 1977. He then became associated with the Dept. of Public Works for the State of CT doing energy efficiency work on buildings for ten years. Mr. Archer was a member of the OX5, the Quiet Birdmen, Past President of the Conn. Valley Penn. State Association, the Penn State Alumni Association, the New England Air Museum, the National Rifle Association, and a charter member of the Glastonbury Hills Country Club.
